The $1.5 Million Vacation

For many of us, the dream vacation may consist of a few weeks on a private island, a trek across Northern Europe, or climbing the Andes to gaze upon ancient Incan ruins. But what if you could do all of this in one vacation? One company can make it happen for only $1.5 million and two years of your time.

Through luxury travel agency Hurlingham Travel, VeryFirstTo has put together a vacation package that is surely for the ultra-wealthy: a two-year trip around the world to visit every site determined to have universal cultural value by UNESCO. These UNESCO World Heritage Sites dot the globe and cover every conceivable civilization you have probably ever heard of, from the modern to the most ancient. Oh, and by the way…there are 962 World Heritage Sites. Check out the map here.

Among the sites you will see are the Stonehenge complex in Britain, the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, the ancient Maya city of Tikal, the Taj Mahal in India, and the Great Wall of China.

In addition to becoming one of the most well-traveled people to have ever lived, you will travel and live in style for the entire two-year duration of the vacation. VFT guarantees business-class travel as a minimum standard. You will also have access to accommodations at some of the world’s most famous and expensive hotels; The Hotel George V in Paris, the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai, and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Moscow, among many others.

There is some that would argue that one could organize a similar vacation for less money, but given Hurlingham Travel‘s experience with organizing luxury holidays, I’d be willing to bet that utilizing their connections is more than worth the value. Also, who wants to worry about organizing their own thousand-leg itinerary? I don’t know about you guys, but this vacation definitely made my bucket list.

  1. This is the “Grand Tour” of past centuries taken by wealthy young men and upscaled just a bit! How amazing, although I think I would get pretty tired of the whirlwind in my head after a couple months of it all.
